connecting to nested data in Big Query

Hi

I can get data out of Big Query without a problem if it comes from Goggla Analytics and is related to web but doing the same when the data comes from an App via Firebase makes it ...strange when it is nested.

How can I un-nest the data?

Below is a sample how the data looks after import.

Not the usual nice format

In DataStudio I canun-nest the data but not in PBI

(I'm a absolute beginner in SQL)

Hi @NOG,

Can you please store your data into txt file and upload onedrive/google drive, then share the link here.

It is hard to analysis your data from snapshot.

Hi @NOG,

I try to analyse your sample and expand nested records, you can take a look at below sample file.

Notice: it seems like only 12 rows available in your sample, row 13 is missing characters so I remove it.

How can I split a row into columns + delete {"v": {"f": [{? Faced the same problem

Hi,

That looks like it might be json. This thread might be helpful for un-nesting, it provides a few means.
