concatenate x-axis does not work for all char types?

The new feature to turn off concatenation does not work for all chart types such as the Line and Stacked Column Chart.   Does anyone know if that is a bug and they plan to fix that or...?   Thank...

    At this point I am pretty sure the "one liner" fix wasn't a one line after all. I just wish they could have informed that it would take a year or so to fix it, so everyone could have taken a different path.
