Visual interactions filtering

This is more of a statement than a question.  From a design standpoint the way we adjust visual interacions is totally backwards. If I want to change how a visual is interacting with other visuals, I should only have to select the subject visual and change the interactions of all the other visuals. I should not have to select every single other visual to see how it is impacting the subject. This would save a lot of time for anyone with a lot of visuals in a report.
