Using Map functionality

Hi - Please find  list of companies against each city - I want to plot these companies in the map using power bi - please note majority of the cities are US based , however there are few which are Non - US , so below are my requirements

1) plot companies based on cities ( for some city there are more than one company)

2) Can we also put a filter which will show only US companies

I recommend reading this whitepaper: Exploring Maps in Power BI Whitepaper | BlueGranite
Even if this is an older document, it still holds true.
Regarding your 2nd question: as soon as you have added a country column, you can only filter for US companies. There are no "auto-generated" columns containing spatial information.

Regarding you first question, what is your expectation, do you expect that each company will appear as a datapoint?

As you can see, visualizing spatial information comes with some extra challenges:
