Hi, I have a below raw data table.
Date | S.No | Category | Name | Input1 | Input Value1 | Input2 | Input Value2 | Target | Achieved | Breached |
Sunday, 1 October, 2023 | 5 | Category5 | Name5 | Text5 | 5 | Text5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 |
Sunday, 1 October, 2023 | 4 | Category4 | Name4 | Text4 | 4 | Text4 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 |
Sunday, 1 October, 2023 | 3 | Category3 | Name3 | Text3 | 3 | Text3 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
Sunday, 1 October, 2023 | 2 | Category2 | Name2 | Text2 | 2 | Text2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 |
Sunday, 1 October, 2023 | 1 | Category1 | Name1 | Text1 | 1 | Text1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
Friday, 1 September, 2023 | 5 | Category5 | Name5 | Text5 | 5 | Text5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 |
Friday, 1 September, 2023 | 4 | Category4 | Name4 | Text4 | 4 | Text4 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 |
Friday, 1 September, 2023 | 3 | Category3 | Name3 | Text3 | 3 | Text3 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
Friday, 1 September, 2023 | 2 | Category2 | Name2 | Text2 | 2 | Text2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 |
Friday, 1 September, 2023 | 1 | Category1 | Name1 | Text1 | 1 | Text1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
In the above Raw data, the below colums are calculated as DAX.
Input1
Input2
Target
Achieved
Breached
When I try to plot this table in a Matrix visual, I am getting the visual as below:
I couldn't plot the DAX values in Row section, hence the the above visual is in the order Input1, Input2, and the respective values
My requirement should be as below with one change, I want the Date in Column.
@amitchandak , @Greg_Deckler @lbendlin , @DesktopOwl @Goodlytics4U @help Ahmedx @Ahmedx @lbendlin : Is there any way to acheive this ??
Hi, I am also getting the same visual, but below is my requirement in Matrix Visual as you mentioned @Thejeswar
1, Date in Column
2, In the order of Input1, Input1 Value, Input2, Input2 Value
3, Input1 Value & Input2 Value are DAXs. Hence it can't be placed in Rows.
I don't think it is possible, Anyway thank you!
Dax measures cannot be place in rows that is correct.
Can you please share a mockup data or sample of your PBIX file. You can use a onedrive, google drive, we transfer or similar link to upload your files.
If the information is sensitive please share it trough private message.

If you want exactly this table
this is possible via table visual
If I answered your query please give kudos and accept is as a solution!
Thanks
Yeah, I should be able to switch the Date either on Rows / Columns, but my requirement is to visualize the data in the mentioned order. I tried and found it is not a possible solution.
The mentioned order on what visualization? On a table?

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi @gssarathkumar ,
Being the date a column you should be abble to use it in rows or columns, but looking at your final result have you tried creating a Table visualization instead of a Matrix?
