Unable to fetch MariaDB data

Hello Team,
I need to fetch Maria DB data into PowerBI through VPN.

Installed MariaDB connector respective to the PowerBI version.

VPN is on and using MariaDB as datasource and inserting the credentials I am getting below error , what should I do next ?

I opted for second approach to fetch from MySQL datasource.

stiil I am facing below error

Please guide me in this and provide me steps to solve this issue.

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum. 

Based on the error message, Power BI appears unable to establish a connection to your MariaDB server over the VPN. Can you please check the below

1.Confirm that the MariaDB server allows remote connections and your user account has permission to connect from your machine’s IP.

2.Try using the MySQL connector in Power BI, it’s often more reliable with MariaDB.

3.Make sure the connector matches your Power BI Desktop.
