Hi,
How can I get the sum of 2 visuals tables ? I have created measures for each month and one for total months 'Total 2024' . (data from 1 table).
Thank you!
Solved! Go to Solution.
So then create 3rd table, put all of these measures and filter all categories that are shown in the first two tables, filter it in the filter pane. Just don't put 'Services final' into a table if you do not need to see every line.
Might I add that you don't really need separate measures for each month and total, you could only create one measure SUM('Project P&L 2024'[External Revenue]) and then add it to the matrix (Rows - Services final, columns - months, values - that one measure), in a matrix you can add totals column. Instead of having 13 measures you would have 1.
There is more information needed to answer your question. Are there the same measures and filters used in both of the tables? If not then just create 3rd measure that sums first two measures. If in both tables only one measure is used, then how the tables differs?

Hi moncx, I have created your measure into a 3rd table and added months in the Filters and it is perfect! Thank you!
as I explained before, I can not use a matrix, and I need the total $ by category...grand total of all categories...I think we need to group both visuals tables (not matrix) and create the grand total, but I don't know how to do that. Thank you!
yes it is the same measures for both but I need in the 3rd visual table only the grand total of both, not with all rows.
Hi @Gigi4691
Just dont take value in the rows you may get the total of all the values.. and avoid taking any filter to it..
Like this.
I hope I answered your question!
Thank you for your answer but I need to view the 'Services final' categories (1st column). I need a 3rd visual table with the sum of these 2 visuals tables. Note: I can not use a matrix because when we extact the data from a visual table, we get loose the matrix visual.
I think we need to group them but I don't know how to do that and obtain the grand total.
Important: I need the months by columns, it is the reason I have created measures because I cannot use a matrix visual. Thank you!
