Support for Windows 8 has stopped long ago.  Power BI Desktop expects Windows 10 or newer.  Recommend to increase RAM to 16 GB or better.

Now I'm getting this error when i double click or try to open the powebi desktop

Pretty sure WebView2 isn't even installed on your Windows 8 PC.

Please help me understand, how did powerbi desktop work fine for the past 1 year, but only starting from today i'm getting these errors

Microsoft decided to pull the plug?
