Split column

Hello all,

 

I would like to split some data as the example below.

 

From this:

 

column 1column 2column 3
xa12
x-1a34
x-2a3
xb6
x-1b5
x-2b19

 

To this:

 

Column 1Column 2Column 3Column 4Column 5
xa12b6
x-1a34b5
x-2a3b19

 

I believe that must be an easy way of doing that...
