Split column

Hello all,

I would like to split some data as the example below.

From this:

column 1	column 2	column 3
x	a	12
x-1	a	34
x-2	a	3
x	b	6
x-1	b	5
x-2	b	19

To this:

Column 1	Column 2	Column 3	Column 4	Column 5
x	a	12	b	6
x-1	a	34	b	5
x-2	a	3	b	19

I believe that must be an easy way of doing that...
