Slicer & Dynamic Table

HI PBI People,
@lbendlin perhaps as a Dax Guru you could help?

I have two visual on my page.
One table I wish to be filtered by end user by using above slicer ex. choose financial quarter,
in another table I wish to display values from previous quarter.

If slicer is set to  3 Qtr 2001, first table show 3 Qtr 2001 but  second table dynamically change to previous quarter 2 Qtr 2001.

How I could achieve that?

Thank you 🙂

Create a measure with your value calculation. Use a filter against your calendar table. DATEADD(calendar[Date],-3,MONTH)

Hi,

Assuming you already have a Calendar table and the slicer has been built from there, this measure should work.  You may drag this measure to the first table itself.

PQ = calculate([Tota],previousquarter(calendar[date]))

Hope this helps.
