Apologies if this is a known bug, or I'm not spotting the workaround.
Using August version of PBI Desktop.
I have a background image with areas for buttons. To make these act as real buttons, I overlay a transparent Shape over the top and apply an Action to it, to trigger a bookmark.
However, after recently converting/upgrading my Shapes. I can no longer make them transparent. When I turn my Fill transparency to 100% it simply goes white - and does not show anything behind it.
(Also tried to change to a button, but can't seem to get the transparency working on this either).
Any ideas?
Hi @g_m_j
A newer PBI Desktop August version (v. 2.108.825.0) was released on 8/17/2022, which has several fixes on issues in the previous version. Please use the latest version to test it again.
In my test on the latest version, I cannot reproduce the problem. In the followimg image, I add a transparent rectangle shape over a textbox and the blue canvas background without any problem.
