Schedule Refresh Issues

Hey,

I set a schedule refresh for my data (power bi pro), i installed personal gateway on the server and there is no errors.

It seems that the schedule running but the data is not refreshing. i need to right click on the data set and press "refresh now"  to refresh the data

How can i debug what is the problem ?

@abovebeyond If you have server you should be using enterprise gateway not personal. Try with enterprise gateway and if still the issue refer this guide to troubleshoot.

Hey, I configured Enterprise Gateway and its online.

Maybe i missed something, how i schedule refresh with enterprise gateway?

You setup schedule refresh on dataset that is published to powerbi.com. So in powerbi.com navigator, under datasets go to your dataset. As you hover over the name you will see three dots appear click on that and click schedule refresh. You will need EG configured to setup this schedule refresh.

Yes, i know this feature.

after installing the EG i cannot choose it on the data set, its greyed out.

What type of data source do you use? Please follow the instructions in this article to check if your data source can be configured scheduled refresh.
