SSAS Tabular model giving error while importing data from excel file

Hello,

 

Following error

Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error:Unspecified error. A connection could not be made to the data source with the Name of '-----(File name/connection name)'.

Do you connect to SSAS from Excel or Power BI Desktop? Please check possible causes of the above error message in this article: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/20827.ssas-error-ole-db-or-odbc-error-a-... .

Please enable tracing  by going to File > Options and Settings > Options > Diagnostics >Enable tracing. Then try to reproduce the issue, please then publish your trace file.
