Hi Masters, do you know something about that there is no SQL Statement opcion when I try to connect with Snowflake? I tried in settings to see if there something there but I didn't find anything
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you are using the lastest update of PBI and have the 'New Power Query experience' turned on in the Preview features option you are running into a bug. If the new experience is turned on, turn it off and try the data connection again.

The SQL Statement box is hidden because you have Implementation set to 2.The SQL Statement box is hidden because you have Implementation set to 2.0. The new 2.0 Snowflake connector removed the custom SQL Statement option.
I already fix it, a disable the option of the new experience, but i found it at the end we need to scroll down, the thing was that at the beginning has the option to use the legacy connection but it's no the right option
Hi Kedar, there is an option to disable it?
I have this on the settigns
As @jgeddes, uncheck New Power Query Experience. The option will reappear.
If you prefer the new experience, I suggest to copy the connection code in the query editor and re-use it next time. Just manually edit the SQL statement.
I Tried this but once is create didn't allow to edit the query, didn't show the gear, and also I tried with the check in use the legacy snowflake connector, restart and nothing happens

Hi Shai, I already add all the information and the tap never showed me the option, if you see I have the advanced settings option open and nothing there, But if I try with SQL server as soon you open the advance option the SQL statement is there.
Hi, the SQL Statement box is inside the Advanced options expander on the Snowflake connector dialog. In Get Data, pick Snowflake, fill in your Server (and Warehouse if you use one), then click "Advanced options" - SQL Statement will appear there along with Role name, connection timeout, and a few other fields.
If that solved it, please mark it as the accepted solution and give a kudos.
Best,
Shai Karmani
