Hi,
We are running SAP R3. I need to automatically export the SAP R3 data (transaction code) to an excel file saved in OneDrive for business.
This file must override each day. (Keep file name the same) Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this? I am not a fan of SAP BW as the data is not up to date.
* The transaction must run every day and then automatically export the data to an excel file saved in One Drive.
(I will then get the data from the OneDrive file in Power BI.)
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I didn't found any relevant documents explaining that OneDrive can automatically update or upload data automatically. Maybe you can go to the OneDrive forum for consultation.

For your problem, maybe you can consider directly connecting to SAP data source to achieve automatic update.
Power BI auto refresh feature is implemented in Power BI Service.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen

hi @Anonymous
maybe its best to ask this in a SAP forum? Are you asking how to automatically export from SAP?
Are you not able to pull the data from SAP via scheduled job in SAP(i dont know SAP), or can you pull directly from SAP? I might have misunderstood your question though, how is the power bi related?

Hi, thank you. However, I am trying to find out if other users are able to get the SAP R3 production to Power BI without manually exporting / copy/ paste every day.
I want to automate the data export. Hopefully, other users have a solution to this.
