Hi,
I have a matrix visual that counts the distinct number of clients.
By using Personalized Visuals and the Filterpane the users can modify the visual to suit their needs.
After the user has set their filters, I would like to add the resulting clients to the filter, so that the remaining filters can be dropped and the user can set different filters but still retain those clients from the first selection.
For example: I have the following data in a Matrix Visual, which counts the distinct number of clients:
| Category | ||
| Location | A | B |
| New York | 300 | 600 |
| Los Angeles | 400 | 800 |
I have the following filters active in the filterpane:
Country = USA
Activated after 2020/01/01
Let's say I want to make a different perspective on the 300 clients from New York in Category A.
Therefore I'd like to add those 300 clients to my filter, so I can drop the filters on "Country" and "Activated", set new filters and use different dimensions on my visual but still retain those 300 clients.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter
Hi @Peter001 ,
Are you meaning that if you select country = US and the 300 clients of New York still contains in the result?
Best Regards,
Jay
That is standard behavior of slicer visuals, and visual,page and report level filters.
You search for company A, then check its box -> visual is filtered for A
You then search for company B, and check its box -> this adds the B filter to the visual which now shows results for A or B.
