Removing Select Page Filters in the Same Table dax

Hello,

I'm facing a challenge and could use some assistance. Currently, I have three page filters in use, and I'm looking to remove only two of them, and the filter are in the same table.

In the scenario outlined below:

I'm utilising page filters for Weekday, Weekending, and Date.

My objective is to eliminate the Weekday and Weekending filters while displaying the minimum date from the Date filter.

I aim to have the card show '7/12/2022' instead of '7/17/2022'. I've attempted two measures, but they didn't show the desired results. Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Min date 1=CALCULATE(min('date'[Date]),all('date'))
Min date 2= CALCULATE(min('date'[Date]),REMOVEFILTERS('date'[Weekday]),REMOVEFILTERS('date'[Weekending]))

Hi @CupidC

If you use the page filters, the visual will always affected by the filter, it't better that remove the 'weekday' and weekend' filters from page filter, then create two slicers , one is weekday, the other is 'weekend', then you can set the slicer , then if you want to the card won't affect by the slicers, you can set the 'Edit interaction' for the two slicers to set the card will not affected by the slicers.

you can refer to the following link about edit interaction.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-reports-visual-interactions?tabs=p...

Then you can put the following measure to the visual card.

Min date 1=CALCULATE(min('date'[Date]),allselected('date'))

Output

If you want to remove the Weekday and Weekending filters while displaying the minimum date from the Date filter, you can follow these steps:

Remove Weekday and Weekending Filters:

  • In Power BI Desktop, go to the page where you have these filters.
  • In the Fields pane, find the table containing the Weekday and Weekending fields.
  • Right-click on the fields (Weekday and Weekending) that you want to remove filters for.
  • Select "Remove from report."
