Reasons for Slow Loading of Matrix Visual?

I have a matrix visual that performs extremely slow when expanding levels. My data is just a flattened table, so I'm not sure why the visual is so slow to load. Right now, it's a poor experience for end users.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the performance?

@ERing It is a very small dataset, if there is no other reason I would 100% go to import. Import all the way. Try that first, test measures, and go from there.

@ERing also any reason you are using DQ for such a small dataset.

@parry2k I generally use DQ with anything above a million rows. The table is currently at 600,000 rows, but will surpass a million rows in a few years.

Would you suggest I switch to import?

@ERing I clearly asked to provide the expression of the measures, any complicated measures can lead to performance issues.

@parry2k I think the measures are pretty simple.

I have 10 measures like this. Sales Type 1 = CALCULATE(DISCTINCTCOUNT(SALESTABLE[ID], SALESTABLE[TYPE] = "New", SALESTBALE[STATUS] = "Completed")

I have 5 measures that use DIVIDE to give me a ratio using the other measures that give me counts.

@ERing what are you using in the visual? Any measures? if yes what are these measures? Read this post to get your answer quickly.

@parry2k The Matrix has 4 rows and 15 measures. Data source is a flattened table of 600,000 rows with will grow at a pace of roughly 240,000 rows per year. Using Direct Query.
