how to make the power bi report visible to all viewer

Hi,

I have a dashboard with some power bi visual created, and now I embed this dashboard into a power apps(Canvas app), I'm able to view the visuals in power apps correctly but for the other user of the app, they always got block to view the dashboard, saying permission needed.

I just want to know is it possible to set up the id/token in power bi so that everyone who access the app can view the dashboard with the shared access?

I'm able to view the dashboard correctly, I have the Pro license in power bi:

the other users can't see the dashboard, they don't have the Pro license in power bi:

Typically the way you'd handle this is to use a single AD group to manage the permissions for both. If you can get an AD group created with all the people who need to use the app and/or report, you'll be able to manage all the users from one place - just share both with the group. An Azure AD group can be managed by the group owner from M365, so you could get IT to add you as the owner if you want to manage access yourself.

Hello @Anonymous ,

did you give them access to this published app ?

refer to this article to see audience in service apps https://powerbi.microsoft.com/fr-ch/blog/announcing-public-preview-of-multiple-audiences-for-power-bi-apps/

Hi @Anonymous

The end user will need either a Power Bi Pro Licence or your company has Enterprise Premium licences.

Either way you will need to share Read permissions of the report with that user. Never give access to the Workspace. If you are using SharePoint as a source to populate the added data from the app, they will need to be a member of that Site too.

Thanks

Joe
