I'm trying to understand the new features Ratio Line and Symmetry Shading. I think I understand that the latter is a way to adjust for differences in scale between the X and Y axes. But I don't understand the Ratio Line and how it differs from the Trend Line.
Can Ratio Line be expressed in a formula - as a function of x and y?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Okay, I think I understand. It's the line that goes thru the origin and the point equal to Sum(Y)/Sum(X). So it allows you to compare individual data point ratios with the overall average ratio.

Hi @timl,
You're right, ratio if ratio line is equals to SUM(Y)/SUM(X). Please mark the right reply or help reply as answer, so that more people will benefit from here.
