Hi all,
I'm in the process of creating a dashboard for my running times, and am looking to create a table that will, upon first load, show my best time for each distinct distance. I then have a series of slicers to alter what the table displays (currently covering Terrain, Profile, Event and Year), with the idea that I can view information such as:
etc
I have a column for Event (5k, 10k etc) and a column for Time that I expected to be the main workhorses. I had expected to use a Top N filter to show the fastest time for each event, but neither filtering Time by top 1 Event nor filtering Event by top 1 Time gives the desired outcome. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get the results I'm after?
Thanks
Damien
Have managed to bodge a solution by making use of a page level filter. Having ranked the times in a new column I referenced this new column in the Page level Filter and set an Advanced Filter to look for #1 only. Not sure if there was a better way of doing it but it'll do for now.
