Question - which data to pick?

I have a data speadsheet to import produced by QuickBooks.   Power BI sees it in the import step  as:

Screenshot 2024-07-12 121018.png

I have not "tableized" anything in the speadsheet. No modifications from how QuickBooks produced it.  It just looks like a single speadsheet in Excel. No Table tab or anything special.

By the two selections shown here, I guessing Power BI is suggesting there "could" be a table there.   Is there any advantage to picking one option over the other (presumably one is not supposed to select both). My gut tells me to just pick the top one.

The table version may help Power BI auto-detect the columns, rows, headers, etc. If you unsure about how the table is structured, you can always choose just "Sheet 1", but you may have to do some transform steps to ensure your data is structured correctly.

Hi @Dan_at_TWE - you can choose the data from .xlsx (sheet) instead of suggested tables. The top one hold typically contains headers that define the names of each column instead of suggested.

Hope it helps.
