I published a report in Power BI Desktop by pressing the "publish" button.
I'm not really sure what that did...it gave me a link and I'm able to view the report from my power BI login.
I want to unpublish it, and I can't find any way to do this from the desktop app,
So I tried to unpublish from the web app (I went to the manage embeded code) but it says I have none.
In the web power bi, I go to the right hand side, Reports & Dataset's I can see my data. I can simply right click and "remove" these.
I also noticed that I can delete the report shown as "owned by me" under "manage storage"
I just want to make sure I didn't publish the reports for the world to see 😉 And if I delete it from the web app did I actually unpublish it from the web?
Hi @unclejemima,
Currently, power bi desktop not support unpublish reports, if you want to delete these reports which you published, you need to login in at power bi service and delete the dataset and reports at service side.
In addition, you can try to submit this requirement to ideas.

"Unpublishing" involves deleting the Report and Dataset from the online PBI Service. A shortcut is to delete the Dataset, which also deletes any dependent report content in one step. There is no way to remove the content using PBI Desktop. Also, if you publish it to "My Workspace", you are the only user who has access.
