Power BI refresh error

Hi 

I have problem with Power BI refresh.

When I refresh data "On demand" status is "completed".

When I schedulet refresh i have status "Failed" with error - Your data gateway is offline or couldn't be reached.

Processing error:	Your data gateway is offline or could not be reached. Ensure the computer running the gateway is on during the refresh period.

This error start two weeks ago. Before that everything was OK.

Hi

1) I use Personal mode Gateway on-premises.

2)Gateway is in local network(server)

3)

 I think i need remove data source (in red) and then plan data refresh.

Any other ideas ?

Hi, @Anrijs 

Since On-premises Gateway Personal Mode does not run as a service, if your computer is shut down and restarted, it usually does not run automatically, and you need to manually open the On-premises data Gateway Personal Mode software.
I did a simple test on this:

When I open the On-premises Data Gateway Personal Mode and log in to the relevant account:

And then in the power BI service, you'll see that our connection is online.

Hi

1. PC with Gateway is always on.
2. All my "Manage Connections and Gateways" connections is on.
3. When i scheduled refresh i have error and when i start on-demand(manual) no error.  Why?

    Why so random refresh work normal un then error ? Any suggestions ?

click on your online workspace or where you are loaded your semantic model.then click on your semantic model schedule refresh.then click on gateway and cloud connection and then manager connections and gatewy.under connection heading click check status, click on round arrows if they are not online then contact your database support team or check your database connection.

Still i have random refresh problem.

 Work and dont work.

• On-premises data gateway (standard mode)
• On-premises data gateway (personal mode), known as a personal gateway.
• Virtual network (VNet) gateway service.
