Hi Community, I have a question on what is available for RLS with Azure SQL DB and Power BI.
If a user consumes a Power BI dashboard that has been created by someone else with DirectQuery to an Azure SQL DB,
will the user credentials be passed to the Azure SQL DB to allow an RLS solution to be applied if they have permissions to see specific rows?
Many Thanks
BertConcentra.

@Anonymous,
I suppose the defined DAX filter expression just adds condition in the WHERE clause. You may take a look at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-directquery-about#security.
Just what I suspected.
Thanks so much for your info Sam.
