Hi team,
good day.
I have been asked to look at an powerBI pbix. on first looks, it has a number of pages. The main page has buttons to the other pages. The subpages are hidden.
I understand these are the Page Navigator buttons. When i ctrl+click on the button, it goes to the subpage. I highligt the button by clicking it, hoping to see a property that would tell me which subpage the button is linked to. However i don't see any of it. I am on the July 2022 edition of PowerBI desktop. Basically i need to know what page a button is linked to.
Please any tip where i should be looking.
Thanks

Hi,
You could access the property and see/change the link on the following page.
If it is generated as a Page navigator, you need to see/change the 'Web Url', otherwise use/change the Bookmark and destination in Action menu
In the Format section of the button, you can see to what page the button is linked to in the Action Section --> Destination option:
Hi @PC2790 , I do not see the Action property at all. There is no action property that i see - Not sure why this is
Are you sure that those are buttons?
Can you share a screenshot?
Hi @msprog ,
If it is a page navigator you cannot see linked pages. it works behind the seen. It has individual button for each page (hidden and visible). It will automatically add a new button if you add new page to the report. If you delete a page, it will delete related page button from navigator automatically. If you change a name of a page, it will change button name automatically.
Thank you.
Hi @msprog ,
There is no action property for page navigation buttons.
It has only following options.
Thank you.
