Hi to all,
I've been trying the new on-object interaction. It works great for a lot of things, but I couldn't find a way to change how a date is inserted.
When on on-object editing, I get all the hierarchy in a table for example, while I need to show only the date. In the old system you could change it, here it seems impossible. I can remove year, month, day, but all the date is then removed.
Any idea?
Hi @danieletiles ,
Do you not want to show the date hierarchy and only show the Date when the field is selected?
You can click on the yellow tab - click on [Date].
OR:
To remove date hierarchy in Power BI, go to File -> Options and Settings -> Options -> Data Load in the Current File section and turn off the 'Auto Date/Time' under Time Intelligence. This feature is enabled by default for import mode.
If it doesn't meet your expected results, can you put your results in the form of a picture so we can better help you.
Best Regards,
Liu Yang

Hi Liu Yang,
as explained in the message, we're talking of the new on-object interaction.
As you can see in the screenshot above, we don't have anymore the section "Column", but we interact on the visual itself. And I haven't got anymore the possibility to select only the date in the visual (or at least, I cannot find it).
