Hi all, I want to a new column with Profile Total only when Product Type = Profile, and GB Total only when Product Type = Storage. Does anyone know how I would do this in the context of the table below? Thanks
| Customer | Product Type | Quantity | Metric | Profile Total (desired column) | GB Total (desired column) |
| A | Profile | 10 | Thousands | 10,000 | |
| A | Storage | 1 | GB | 1 | |
| B | Profile | 20 | Thousands | 20,000 | |
| B | Storage | 5 | GB | 1 |

Hi,
Please try these two measures(showing the correct total):
Profile Total =
SUMX (
GROUPBY ( 'Table', [Product Type], 'Table'[Customer] ),
CALCULATE (
IF (
MAX ( 'Table'[Product Type] ) = "Profile",
MAX ( 'Table'[Quantity] ) * 1000,
BLANK ()
)
)
)GB Total =
SUMX (
GROUPBY ( 'Table', [Product Type], 'Table'[Customer] ),
CALCULATE (
IF (
MAX ( 'Table'[Product Type] ) = "Storage",
MAX ( 'Table'[Quantity] ),
BLANK ()
)
)
)The result shows:
Here is my test pbix file:
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Giotto
Hi @Anonymous
try columns
Profile Total =
IF(Table[Product Type] = "Profile"), Table[Quantity]*1000, BLANK() )
and
GB Total =
IF(Table[Product Type] = "Storage"), Table[Quantity], BLANK() )
