Matrix visualization show row count

Hello All,

I have created a matrix visualization. I have multiple rows in matrix to make it look like a drill down report. I had a requirement to show the count at the end of the rows, then sub-rows. I have done that my adding calculated columns. But the problem is when some applies any filters , these counts are not getting changed dynamicsally. Can you help me with ides(s) how can I resolve this issue ?

It is a really crazy requirement to have this concatenated values. I was trying to explain that only measures can change dynamically. You need to build a measure with this values instead of columns if you want the filter to recalculate the values.

Hi, you can try two things. First adding any column of the table and make it a count in the visualization or create a measure like COUNTROWS ( Table ). That should be dynamic.

@ibarrau Thanks for your reply. But I am still bit unclear on what you have suggested as I am quite new in PBI.

My calculation is below:

Ad Source = CONCATENATE(Ads[AdName],CONCATENATE(CONCATENATE(" (",CALCULATE(COUNTROWS(Ads),ALLEXCEPT(Ads, Ads[AdName]))),")"))

Can you please help me a little more by guiding if I need to tweat this query ?
