If I got a Matrix with different categories in the first column and order numbers that includes the specific category in the second column. How do i count how many order number there are in each category?
In this scenario, you just need to DISTINCTCOUNT() the order numbers group on each category. You can use ALLEXCEPT() in your calculation.
Order Number Count =
CALCULATE (
DISTINCTCOUNT ( Table[OrderNumber] ),
ALLEXCEPT ( Table, Table[Category] )
)
Regards,
i would just do a distinct count on the order number and populate that number as the value to the product key rows in a table.
I believe I answered this on another post, though.
