Issue connecting Power BI postgreSQL (Amazon RDS)

Hi!

I can't connect my postgreSQL Database to Power BI desktop due to this error:

"Details: "An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.'"

I have already confirmed that my DB has public access and that I can connect from python for example, using the same credentials.

We are using Amazon RDS with PostgreSQL 17.2 in EU West, and we have SSL certification. 

We also checked Solved: Connect Desktop Power BI to AWS RDS postgreSQL - Microsoft Fabric Community 

where we tried using ODBC, the connection test made there seems to be OK, but it fails again when connecting ODBC to Power BI with the credentials:

Details: "ODBC: ERROR [08001] FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host "{my_host}", user "{my_user}", database "{my_database}", no encryption
FATAL: password authentication failed for user "{my_user}"
"
