@Anonymous

  • Uncheck Auto Date/Time in your pbix by navigating through Fileà Options & Settings-->Options-->Current File-->Data Load-->Auto Data/Time
      • Please make sure you are retrieving only the columns which are required , if the column is no longer required prior to importing please delete the unwanted columns in power query
      • if you don’t need certain rows of data, then filter them out

      • Make sure you clear cache from power bi desktop

Hi All

Thank you for all your sharing.

Sorry my question is not so clear. what i mean is if my PBI file have 1000 row of data , may i know how to reduce to 10 row of data ?

Paul

Hi @Anonymous ,

If your data source supports query folding(Most data sources that have the concept of a query language support query folding. These data sources can include relational databases, OData feeds (including SharePoint lists), Exchange, and Active Directory. However, data sources like flat files, blobs, and web typically do not.), you can just filter your query to 10 rows in query editor. Otherwise, you need to filter your data in your data source.

For more details, please refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/power-query-folding

@Anonymous  you can make use of Pivot Option OR  group by function in power query.

@Anonymous , keep only the required column. Disable date hierarchy, if not needed.
