Hi,
I have a SharePoint list with json implemented inside. when i try to connect it to the Power BI for desktop and receive the following error:
Any thoughts?
Thanks a lot,
Hi @arevach,
Could you please elaborate more details about that SharePoint list with json implemented inside? And how do you connect to SharePoint list in Power BI Desktop?
If you want to retrieve json object from a SharePoint list and import it into Power BI Desktop, you can connect to it using URL like http://yoursite/_api/web/lists/GetByTitle('ListName') via Get Data>Web entry. There is an example for your reference.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi Lydia,
My mistake. this is a plain list with no JSON. when i try to connect to it, i get the error. It does have complex data type such as people picker, lookup value but it's all OOTB columns.
Any thoughts?
