Formatting missing from Modelling tab

in my versio of Desktop Power BI Version: 2.83.5894.961 64-bit (July 2020), on Modelling tab there is no Formatting option, at all

 

I have there Relationships, Calculations, Page Refresh, What if, Security and Q&A

 

What am I missing?

Hi @annahorodecka ,

 

Click on one of the columns on your tables under Fields Pane, the Column Tools section appears.

Did you follow what I mentioned as my response?

 

Also, try tagging people while responding, just helps on who's response you are trying to respond.

Hi, I am on version: 2.123.742.0 64-bit. I came across a similar instance. However, after clicking on the column name, I found the Formatting tab under the "Column Tools" ribbon. I hope it helps.

Click on the field name, the formating will appear.

I do not have the icon on the left. I am still lost on how to format the numbers.

I figured out a solution

 

I made a new measure and using the previous measure this unlock the measure setting for me to format correctly.

You must select a visualization to show the Format tab.

I think you will get those options once you select something.  Like visual, table or column
