Filtering differently on several metrics in the same matrix table

Hello, 

I would like to see if there is a simple way to filter metrics individually on Power BI desktop. For example, I have a matrix table that shows the Month to date (MTD) invoiced sales and our forecast and the performance versus last year. In the same table, I also have the same metrics but for a different timing of year to date (YTD). I do this for several different metrics and thus I'm currently creating formulas to filter on the month or year for each one. I imagine that there is a simpler way, can anyone help me with this?

Look into the possibility of implementing SWITCH in your measure in order to dynamically shift between periods.
