I'm new to this Power BI

I have created a query

Moved to visualization selected my fields, formatted them to Don't Summarize and show values as  'no calculation' yet it brings the values across as count  - I just want the raw data to be plotted

Please advise

I think the problem is solved more by luck than judgement, tho, as the selection of parameters doesn't seem to be consistent. Also, the 'aggregation/Sum/ nomenclature doesn't seem to have any logic to me since I am trying to represent raw data not add, count min, max etc

I don't really understand the answer, I have about 7000 readings, and readings are from a web source based on constant temperature monitoring with readings taken frequently. I just want to show a graph with temperature on the y-axis, and time on the x-axis. The temp in degrees c is either a whole number or a number to 2 dec places. I just want the real values not summed, not counted etc. I am trying to use a line graph. Please me in this

Power BI will use whatever granularity you put on your x-axis. The sum of your values is just a way to aggregate these values. In the screenshot below I made some sample data to show a temp reading every second for this time span. Just leave your values as sum and bring your x-axis down to whatever the granularity of your timeframes are.

Right, the no calculation just means it wont show a % of grand total (or row total for other visuals).
If you select sum it should be what you're expecting if your data is daily.

Can you share a screenshot of the data/chart you're using and what you are expecting?

Typically, your data will be aggregated in some way. If you have 100 data points, it wouldn't make sense for power bi to list out 100 bars in a chart. It gives you the option to do that if you choose such as adding the unique identifier to an axis but I wouldn't recommend this.
