Hi Guys,
I'm experiencing this error when refreshing my data. I tried my credentials to access the database, everything is good. But when refreshing the data on power bi desktop and even webapp, its an error.
"An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Received an unexpected EOF or 0 bytes from the transport stream.'"
PLEASE HELP.
Thank you.
Regards,
Arvin
Hi @Anonymous,
Based on your error, it seems like that your issue is not related Power BI desktop itself. It may be related to your connector.
In your scenario, which connector are your using when getting the data? Please verify the connector is working fine.
Thanks,
Xi Jin.
Hi @v-xjiin-msft,
I hope you are doing great. Sorry for bothering you, I would like to ask what seems to be the problem on my report or gateway, because when Its having an error when refreshing the data on web app both manually and scheduled refresh. but I can refresh the report on my Power BI Desktop then publish it. In that way, the data are updated but that is not convenient because I have to do it manually everyday. I am using gateway connector, its working fine to my other reports
please advise. thank you for your precious time!
Regards,
Arvin
