Relative Contribution using "Explain Increase"

Hi guys,

I have started using the "explain increase/decrease" function in Power BI, simply showing the contributors to the increase or decrease from one month to another.

I understand "XX stands of the majority of the increase" but what does the "relative contribution" mean and how is it calculated???

It appears to show top 3 names in descending order of absolute value.

But "Övriga Externa" is decreasing by 0.3 mn? You can see it in red.

I meant the absolute value.

Oh, so you mean that the relative change considers both increases and decreases? 

Then it makes sence, those three are the ones that have changed the most in absolute value.
