I'm having issues connecting to a remote Oracle database. Getting a TNS Lost contact Error.
A couple things to note:
Anyone else experience similar issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Hi @Anonymous ,
At first, you could restart the listening service and check if it works.
If the issue still exists, please follow this blog to get a workaround:

Hi @Anonymous
Speculative stab at a solution but I have had users with problems connecting to Oracle DBs when using Power BI installed from the Microsoft Store (they have the necessary ODACs etc. installed on their machines). I usually direct them to the latest version of Power BI from the official site and upon updating/installing this version it solves their issues. There must be some necessary drivers in the version available here vs the store.

That's a good thought Kris! Unfortunately, this did not fix the issue.
