Adding analytics to a custom visual - Power BI

Is it possible to add an analytics pane to my Power BI Custom Visual (TypeScript)?  I could not find any information within the community on this.

i.e. I would like to include median lines in my custom visual.

I have reviewed this section - there is no mention of how to include details in the analytics pane for a custom visual.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I've tried a lot of custom visualizations, none of them have anayltics pane.  I recommend you create an idea for it  in https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas to improve the power bi.

Is there any reason adding analytics wouldn't be included as an option for developers? Seems like a logical inclusion considering most Power BI Visuals do access analytics.

Hi @Anonymous ,

This seems to have been designed by Microsoft, but I still suggest you creat an idea for it.

@Anonymous well you need to reach out to the developer of custom visual, it is not something you can add or remove, it is part of the visual, in other words, functionality developed in the visual.

Are there any docs on how to develop these analytics for a custom visual?  I am a developer looking for some direction on how to implement this.
