Edit Query Source from multiple spreadsheets to one folder

Hello,

I have built an elaborate PowerBI dashboard using multiple .xlsx files. I currently have each of these queries set up seperately. Is it possible for me to change this to one source (using folder) without losing my current progress?

Thank you for any help offered!

Hi @nlenzi,

It seems you can do combining queries from a folder. You still can refer to desktop-combine-binaries.

BTW, what are the current progresses? I afraid it's hard to keep your current progresses if you mean the current reports and dashboards. Because it will be a new dataset when you use a folder as data source. There could be only one new query (one new table) after combining. A new data Gateway is needed too.

Best Regards,

Dale
