Hi
Is it possible to direct query mySQL from Power BI in the same way as you can from MS SQL.
Making it possible to have near live data in a report as opposed to only updating when an import happens.
Looking at different posts it seems historically it wasn't possible but I can't find a definitive recent answer.

Hi @PBE,
Wanted to let you know that Power BI does not support DirectQuery mode for MySQL. DirectQuery is only officially supported for a limited set of sources (like SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).

There are custom connectors that claim to achieve that via ODBC.
