Hi - I'm trying to evaluate the number of days between the Today() function and several date data points in my dataset using the DateDiff.
I'm unable to select these data points however when using a measure, as my data is a SSIS connection adding calculated columns isn't an option (I'd be delighted if someone corrected me on this)
Is there any known workaround for this issue? I'd be open to making changes on the server side for the dataset if that would help.
Many Thanks,
Maurice
Hi @Quinn92,
SSIS is a platform for building enterprise-level data integration and data transformations solutions. Your resource data must be stored in database or other places, If you want to do it in Power BI, you need to upload the data into Power BI by "Get Date" function, please review this article. Then you can create a calculated column usinng DateDiff function.
If you want to get days between the Today() function and several date data points in your SSIS platform, you'd better post your thread to SSIS forum, I am not specific for SSIS, you can get professional support there.
Thanks,
Angelia
@Quinn92 you mean ssas?
in a live connection as far as i know you can't do this as its expected your data is modelled in the source, so thats the way to do it.
