I am using DirectQuery to take data directly from a server, where I have created views that I am importing into Power BI.
Loading in everything is fine and COUNTROWS shows all records are there, as well as a text slicer works perfectly.
Though when I am wanting to add a date slicer to filter on the last calendar month it doesnt seem to want to do it, even when using the Created On date column that I have (date & time format currently) and only have 1 set of data loaded currently. This happens no matter what type of slicer I use for the date. No data shows or takes one date from 2021 (for some weird reason)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is this date field in your Direct Query source or are you trying to use Dynamic M Query Parameters?
this date field is within the Direct Query
Then the data should automatically change based on your filter selection.
