Hi everyone,
I have a Power BI Dataset that was connected to databricks via a spark connection.
Within the modelling view I have added documentation to the field descriptions, and I have also added folders to separate out the different fields into similar areas.
I recently updated the data source to use Azure databricks which should have the exact same data in it.
When I do this, all my field description and folders are removed.
This means that I must go and manually re add all of the dataset field descriptions and folders for each dataset when I update the source to use Azure databricks.
Is there any way of preventing this from happening? Is there a nice JSON file that can be used to maintain model information like there is for themes?
I think this would be useful as developing with Power BI can be a pain when having to manually re add information to datasets when changing connections etc.
Thanks
@Anonymous , How you have changed connection details
have you followed one of the two ways, and it still it removed?

Update:
When I go to change the source the option is greyed out.
It looks like in order for me to change the source from spark to azure databricks i have to use a new source and I cant change the source type.
It only gives me spark as an option:
I have watched those videos, thanks for that. I will try and see what happens when applying that way.
