Create menu from table

I need to create a menu based on the columns in that table.

I expect to plot columns A, B and C on y axis given selection on corresponding buttons A, B, C.

Hi @AyaneYep ,

Sounds like a slicer. You could create a table contains column name in your raw table and use it as slicer.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-slicers

Or you could use buttons with bookmarks.

Best Regards,

Jay

@AyaneYep I guess you are trying to create 3 buttons : Button 1, Button 2, Button 3 on selection of a button values from each column to be shown in the screen. Let me know if this is what you are trying to achieve.

@AyaneYep There is a simple solution for it. You go to power query window and unpviot columns. Then you will have your button values in one column and it will be easy to filter by button values as below

@AyaneYep - Not sure what you mean. You could create a measure that did that. What is the expected output?

Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
