I have 2 tables as data sources which have a many to many both directional relationship between them.
I have created table visual by pulling volumns frol both these tables. I also have certain dropdown filters on the page.
I want to get the count of number of rows for the records visible innthe table visual based on whether the dropdown filters applied. How can I achieve this?
Hi @Vishruti ,
Assume you have two tables:
Table1: Columns: [ID], [Name]
Table2: Columns: [ID], [Category]
Your table visual pulls [Name] from Table1 and [Category] from Table2, you can use this DAX to look like this:
VisibleRowsCount = COUNTROWS(SUMMARIZE(
Table1,
Table1[Name],
RELATED(Table2[Category])
))
Hi @Vishruti
You can create a virtual table mimicking the columns and measures in your table visual and then count the rows that virtual table has. Please see sample below.
