I know in Conditional formating you can have a Minimum / Middle / Maximum range when selecting "Diverging". The issue from what I see is you are locked in to single figures for each category. What if one needed to do ranges for each color...like Red is 0 to 70 and Yellow is 71 to 90 and Green 91 to 150. Thoughts on options here or perhaps an option coming soon?

Currently conditional formatting not support this feature, I think you can vote below idea which has the similar requirement:
Conditional Formatting with fixed colors not color scale.
