Better Visualisation Suggestion

Hi Community,

I have a Columns namely Skill, Actual value, Target value(which is constant value for each skill). I want to represent it in a better manner which looks clean. Currently I am using bullet graph from xviz from more visuals section. Can anyone suggest a better visual more like consisting of bubble like representation for each skill . TIA!!

Hi @rajendraongole1 , thanks for your reply. I tried using bubble chart with categorical data viz and getting this output

Not sure if this also looks pleasing. My sample data structure looks this

Target value is constant which is 4

@powerbidev123 You can try these options:

Option 1: Use the "Stacked Column Chart" and add a Constant Line:

Option 2: You could also use "Clustered Bar Column" chart and add a target line

Option 3: Try like creating Measure for Target and compare it next to each skills

Option 4: Use Table with Data Bar as Conditional Formatting:

Hi @powerbidev123 - you can consider the following alternatives to the bullet chart

Use the "Scatter Chart" visual.
Map:
Y-Axis: Skills
X-Axis: Actual Values
Size: Target Values
Lollipop Chart:

Use a combination of line and circle visuals from the "Custom Visuals" marketplace.
Conditional Formatting for Bars:

Use a clustered bar chart.
Apply conditional formatting based on a measure to compare actual vs. target.
